FLKey – How many third party plugin instruments have specific parameter mapping support?

The following is a growing list of third-party instrument plugins that have “automagic” mapping to the VPOTS on the Novation FLKey series of keyboards for FL Studio (hint: there are now over 50!)

Juno 106

Dream Synth

Mercury 4 (Roland Jupiter 4)

Mini Mode (Mini Moog)

The “Lowdown” (Moog Taurus)

The Lowdown Bass Synthesizer recreates the super-fat, room-rattling sounds of the most legendary dual-oscillator bass pedal synth ever made, the Moog Taurus. Back in the 70’s The Taurus had originally been designed by Moog as part of a trio of synthesizers called the Constellation. This portion, operated via foot pedals similar to church pipe organs, handled bass duties. The Taurus’ hands-free operation provided (usually guitar-driven) songs a bass synthesizer part without requiring another band member!

(The majority of TAL instruments are already supported)

Roland Plugins

The top-level parameters (Cutoff, Resonance, Attack, Release, Vibrato and Level) are all supported:

Jupiter 8 (Plug in/out)

Jupiter 4

System 1

Analog Lab 5

All knobs (Brightness, Timbre etc) are supported.

Analog Lab 4

(Same support as 5)

V Collection 7:

ARP 2600 V3

Jupiter 8 (V3)

Moog Mini V3

Piano V2

Prophet 5 (V3)

Stage 73 Electric Piano

BLEASS Monolit (Free!)

The BLEASS Monolit combines the rich analogue sound and intuitive ease-of-use of BLEASS Alpha with the creative expressiveness of BLEASS Omega. The result is a compact, efficient, mono-synth tailor-made for creating thunderous basses, searing leads, sparkling arpeggios and other-worldly SFX.

Computer Music Mini Bit

Great Plugin for recreating those classic low-res game console sounds(and a nice level of control using just the 8 pots on the FLKey keyboard pots!)

Computer Music Curve 2

Uniquely allows you to draw and manipulate your waveforms!

Thorn CM

Einklang (which translates to “Harmony”)

Very interesting Morphing UI (Linked to the last 3 pots on the FLKey)

Applied Acoustics

These session instruments from Applied Acoustics beligh their toyish naming and are, all three, excellent musical plugins that bring back the kind of sounds you wuill have heard on so many top recording of the last 50 years or so! Absolutely Awesome 🙂

Lounge Lizzard Electric Piano

Strum Session

Ultra Analog

Ultra Analog VA-3

An amazing plugin that has well over 100 parameters to play with – but extra welcome are the macros that are surfaced in the tab shown above (I have taken the decision to map this plugin “out of the box” using these macros for the 8 VPOTS instead of the usual Zenology inspired ones)

Sylenth 1
