7 Wonders of the World App Suite

 

When my wife and I were discussing our holiday plans for next year the idea came up for visiting the ‘7 Wonders of the World’.  Although we recognised that this would probably have to be a series of holidays we both liked the idea and I was given the job of investigating a little further.  My first stop was Wikipedia, and to my surprise I discovered that there are several versions of these ‘7’ wonders’ . The established 7 wonders, that I learned about in school (many years ago) have all but been lost (with the exception of the pyramids at Giza, which remain intact!)  But there are a number of established alternative ‘7 wonders.  it also seemed sensible to broaden our horizons and change our remit to being ‘anything worth seeing in the World”.  And so the following Apps were born:

• 7 Wonders of the Ancient World (the original list)
• 7 Natural Wonders of the World
• 7 Structural Wonders of the World (“MegaStrutures”)

 

I decided to base an App on each of these lists so that my wife and I could peruse them and make a decision as to where me might like to visit first.
